ZOMBIE: FAWN OF THE DEAD? IS THIS REAL?

While searching the internet i came across this rather disturbing trailer for a film called Zombie: Fawn Of The Dead. The disturbing part of this is that its actually a sequel to Bambi. Im not sure if this is real but it has a the Cartoon Network logo in the corner. If this is actually real, this is awesome news. A cartoon for kids about a zombie deer. Check out the trailer below..

MTV Green-light Zombie Series....

Those crafty folks over at MTV, have just announced that they have greenlit a new Zombie series following an undead task force. The show is titled DEATH VALLEY.
The show's casting, so far consists of Caity Lotz (TV's 'Mad Men') and Tania Raymonde (TV's 'Lost').

Trailer Trash Thursday

So, it's Thursday again, which can only mean one thing. TRAILER TRASH THURSDAY! Last week's trailer was the film that arguably started the whole zombie genre; White Zombie. This week's film couldn't be more different. Utterly stupid and somewhat of an obscure title, Hard Rock Zombies is one of the strangest zombie films you're likely to see. Starring Adolf Hitler, a midget with an eye patch (from Sabrina: The Teenage Witch no less), a horribly ugly midget that eats himself, an OAP wheelchair-bound werewolf woman, heavy metal singers and even a song that could very well be an anthem for pedophilia. More of a bizarre music video lasting 90 minutes, than an actual film, this film will have you laughing out loud with its absurdness and downright cheesiness. Below is a very rare teaser trailer for the Australian VHS which pretty much sums up the WTF-quality of this so-bad-it's-good film. And what's more, this teaser features music from my favourite band; Judas Priest's Victim Of Changes (from Sad Wings Of Destiny). Sadly, this film features music no where near as great.

BOY SCOUTS VS. ZOMBIES? OBVIOUSLY A COMEDY

I've just discovered news of a new zombie film coming from the director of Disney films such as The Game Plan and Race To Witch Mountain and from the writers of Road Trip, that concerns...you guessed it....boy scouts versus Zombies. From what I've read, there is no current info on the plot, but I'm imagining a 3D PG-13/12A rating, which will unfortunately leave out the gore. There is also no casting info as yet, so I'm leaving this as just a rumour.
I will keep you posted on any further development on this project, but to be perfectly honest I think this is a dud..

Left 4 Dead: The Sacrifice

Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 are two of the most successful zombie games in existence. Crammed full of running hordes of hideously ugly zombies (or the infected, if you like) and Special Infected creatures straight out of a nightmare, these two games have spawned various fan-art, game mods made by fans and even a fan film. But now, Left 4 Dead fans can enjoy an official and totally free graphic novel! Titled Left 4 Dead: The Sacrifice, this online comic is available to anyone and everyone with an Internet connection and features some excellent artwork to progress the story of the original Left 4 Dead game either further. Realised in large sections, at the time of writing, only part one is available. But word has it that one of the four main characters (Louis, Zoey, Francis, Bill) will be killed off! But who will it be? Well, you'll just have to go here and read the comic for yourself.

Mexican Zombie flick ZOMBIES DEL BICENTENARIO Coming Soon

As Mexico celebrates it's 200th year of independence, a group of film makers have decided to celebrate it in the only way fitting, by unleashing a horde of the undead onto the streets of Mexico city. From the trailer, it is stated that the film will be showing in 3D IMAX, at this present time I am unsure as to whether this is correct or just a ploy to get people interested. but from the trailer, it does look pretty interesting. With the crop of recent Latin horror, this looks to fit in well with films like [rec] and the Brazilian film Plaga Zombies.
Check out the teaser below. As always I'll try and keep up to date with the making of this film.

Fred 'The Hammer' Williamson To Battle The Undead.

Former NFL footballer and Blaxsploitation legend, Fred Williamson is to star in a low budget zombie film called Zombie Apocalypse II: Redemption. ZA:R is the sequel to Zombie Apocalypse, but instead of setting it now, it's to be set in a post-apocalyptic world. The Film is set to start filming this month with an aim of wrapping at the end of the month. For any American readers if you wan't to get involved you can head over to the website which is situated here www.zombieapocalypsemovie.com/ with a link to contact the director Ryan Thompson.
There is a promo teaser showing what kind of look they're aiming for. A sort of Mad Max with zombies...

It's looking pretty cool.

Zombie Girl: The Movie! A Documentary

I have frequented the website of Texan movie obsessive Harry Knowles called www.aintitcool.com for many years and one story that kept cropping up was that of 12 year old Emily Hagins, who at such a young age was actually making a feature length zombie Film called Pathogen. This isn't that big when you think of how many budding young film makers there are who are attempting to make their own film. The big story comes from how prepared and how she deals with the movie making experience. Now there is a Documentary that follows her as she goes about making her feature film début and it's called ZOMBIE GIRL: THE MOVIE.
