Zombie Girl: The Movie! A Documentary

I have frequented the website of Texan movie obsessive Harry Knowles called www.aintitcool.com for many years and one story that kept cropping up was that of 12 year old Emily Hagins, who at such a young age was actually making a feature length zombie Film called Pathogen. This isn't that big when you think of how many budding young film makers there are who are attempting to make their own film. The big story comes from how prepared and how she deals with the movie making experience. Now there is a Documentary that follows her as she goes about making her feature film début and it's called ZOMBIE GIRL: THE MOVIE.

Since making Pathogen she has completed a short film, a Second feature and is currently in Post production on her third feature film. Zombie Girl gets its release in north America on 9th November on DVD. It just shows that you don't have to pay thousands to go to school to learn this, just an idea and a camera and some willing friends and you can make what ever you want. I think Emily Hagins is an inspiration to all young Film makers and makes me damn proud to be a zombie fan....
