The Zombie Opera.

So we've got zombie films, books, games, t-shirts, music and even sex toys. Well, now there's a zombie opera! So zombie musical theatre is nothing particularly new; there's The Evil Dead Musical and Night Of The Musical Dead for example, but this opera manages to mix both live theatre with theatre. Evenings in Quarantine: The Zombie Opera, created by Artistic Directors Bonnie Bogovich and Elizabeth Rishel is currently in its production stage with its scheduled premiere taking place on October 15th in the home of the flesh-eating zombie, Pittsburgh. The show utilises a moving and interactive video backdrop providing the audience with a much more visual aspect of the opera.

According to the opera's website;

The story follows three college friends, as they navigate through the infected streets of Pittsburgh, PA. Each character must take stock of their priorities as they grapple with the living dead and each other, on their way to a military-controlled safe zone.

Sounds like fun! To find out more head over to their website.
